Ashlyn
Dog Trainer & Behavior Consultant
Ashlyn's journey into the world of dog training began at a young age, fueled by her deep love for animals. Starting with horses, she quickly discovered her affinity for working with animals and soon transitioned to the field of dog training at Petco, where she immersed herself in the art and science of positive reinforcement techniques. There Ashlyn honed her skills by patiently guiding dogs of all breeds and ages towards better behavior.
After three years of dedicated service at Petco, Ashlyn felt the urge to deepen her understanding of psychology and behavior. This led her to a clinical role, where she worked as a behavior technician, assisting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Here, she gained invaluable insights into Applied Behavior Analysis, which she later adapted to her work with dogs.
Despite her enriching experience in the clinical setting, Ashlyn's heart remained with her canine companions. She returned to professional dog training at Pavlov Dog Training, one of Denver's top facilities, where she delved into board and train programs. Over the course of two years, she worked tirelessly with hundreds of dogs and their families, mastering positive reinforcement techniques and refining her training skills.
Today, as a dog trainer and behavior consultant at RAD K9 Dog Training, Ashlyn brings her wealth of experience and deep understanding of canine behavior to help owners achieve their training goals. With a focus on trust, respect, and understanding, she fosters harmonious relationships between dogs and their human companions, delivering unparalleled results that endure long after the training sessions are over.
